Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson make a comeback – but Linn Svahn is missing

WC heroes Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson are making a comeback again.
But Linn Svahn is forced to turn down the World Cup final in Lahtis.

Tonight is the time for the next World Cup race when the city sprint in Tallinn, Estonia is decided. Then a lot of Swedish national team stars are missing due to illnesses after the ski WC in Planica.

Frida & Ebba back

Neither Frida Karlsson, Ebba Andersson, Emma Ribom, William Poromaa or Johan Häggström will start in Tallinn. Therefore, hope lies primarily in names such as Jonna Sundling, Maja Dahlqvist, Johanna Hagström, Calle Halfvarsson and Edwin Anger.

But now comes the great news for the Swedish national ski team. Because when the World Cup continues on to Finland, the sick riders join again and WC heroes Ebba and Frida join the World Cup finale in Lahtis.

But Svahn is missing

Also Jens Burman returns to the national ski team again after illness in Holmenkollen.
– Now we enter the season finale and also get most of the WC riders back after various absences. We want to place ourselves as high as possible in the overall cups in the world cup, but above all it is Maja Dahlqvist and Johanna Hagström who are fighting at the absolute top in the sprint world cup, says the national team manager Anders Byström in a press release.

However, it is forced Lynn Svahn turn down the season finale in Lahti due to illness. She is still recovering from probable flu and is not ready to compete again.

The schedule for Lahtis is a sprint relay on Friday, an individual sprint on Saturday and everything ends with a mass start over 20 km on Sunday. See the entire Swedish squad for Lahtis below.
