Frida Karlsson after the terrorist act: “Horrible what happened”

Hear Frida Karlsson talk about the measures in the player above.

In connection with Sweden’s EC qualifying match against Belgium on Monday, two Swedish supporters were shot to death.

– It’s terrible, of course. To be shot when you are supposed to support your team and country is terrible, says Frida Karlsson in Sportspegeln.

After the incident, security around events and national teams has been increased, including in the Swedish cross-country team.

– We have received updates from the entire organization. Some rules of conduct such as that we will travel civilly, for example. I trust that the organization takes responsibility for this.

How confident are you?

– It is obviously terrible what happened. At the same time, we travel to places like Rukka or Livigno. It’s like small shit places and maybe not the worst “terror sites”. So in that way it feels a little more secure. But it is clear that what happened is terrible.
