Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey have played Lex Luthor. The DC series Superman & Lois was looking for its own version of the famous DC villain with the distinctive hairstyle for the 3rd season. It had been known since January that The Walking Dead star Michael Cudlitz would take on the role. And now there’s the first picture of Cudlitz as Lex Luthor. He presents himself to Entertainment Weekly as befitting his freshly shorn haircut.

Cudlitz replaces Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer, who previously played Luthor in Supergirl. The showrunners wanted to put their own villain stamp on their series, hence the in-universe swap.
What is the Superman & Lois series about?
A Supergirl spin-off, the DC series leaves Clark and Lois to care for their teenage sons, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin). Of course, the question arises whether the children of the Man of Steel too Inherited superpowers from father have.
In the upcoming episodes of the series, the rich and powerful Luthor will return years after he disappeared from public view and seek revenge on Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch).
When will the first episodes of Superman & Lois with Lex Luthor air?
You can watch seasons 1 and 2 of Superman & Lois via a season pass on Amazon *. Season 3 starts in the US on March 14, 2023. When the first appearance of Lex Luthor will take place is not yet certain. “Lex Luthor doesn’t show up where you expect him to, he sneaks up”, showrunner Brent Fletcher tells Entertainment Weekly. A German date for the 3rd season is not yet known.
