“Frénésies” by Stéphanie Vovor, the incandescent poetry of a generation

Frenesies by Stephanie Vovor the incandescent poetry of a generation

“Frénésies” is the effervescent title of the first collection of poetry by poet Stéphanie Vovor, member of the Krachoir and Poétesses Gang collectives. A free poetic story, published by Editions du Castor Astral.

Stéphanie Vovor has just published her first collection of poetry. The Haitian poet Jean d’Amérique signed the preface. The words he chooses to talk about his writing show how those of the young author cannot leave one indifferent: “savage”, “flayed alive”, “storm where one’s skin is torn off”, “an inkwell filled with rage”, “a volcano book in which to burn yourself”, “portrait of a youth on fire”…

You have understood, it is with an incandescent pen that Stéphanie Vovor forges her prose and her free verse. Free, she certainly is, and she shouts it in her book, but also on stage with the collective “Le Krachoir” and in a pack, with her sisters from the “Poèteses Gang”.

Frenzies “, of Stephanie Vovor is published by Editions du Castor Astral.

Rebroadcast of the show from Thursday October 26, 2023.
