The French achieved a hat-trick in BMX racing, an Olympic discipline, during the World Cycling Championships in Glasgow, where Romain Mahieu won the gold medal on Sunday. Mahieu, who won his first world medal at the age of 28, won ahead of Arthur Pilard and Joris Daudet, to take the date one year before the Paris Olympics.
