The founder of the popular messaging platform Telegram, Pavel Durov, has been thrust into the judicial spotlight in France. Arrested Saturday, August 24 upon his arrival at Le Bourget airport, in Seine-Saint-Denis, Durov, 39, is currently being questioned as part of an investigation into alleged offenses committed via his platform. He could face indictment, a judicial source said on August 28.
