French freediver Arnaud Jerald broke the depth diving world record on Tuesday in the Bahamas. During the record diving, he dived to a depth of 120 meters. The dive lasted three minutes and 34 seconds.

It was already the seventh time that 26-year-old Jerald has broken the freediving world record during his career, and the second time within a week.

The record was created in the Vertical Blue freediving competition held annually in the Bahamas. This year, competitors will be allowed to dive six times between the first and the 11th of August in their chosen category.

In his performances, Jerald focused only on the CWTB category, where you dive with flippers.

On the fourth day of the competition, he set a new world record in the sport by reaching 119 meters and on the sixth day 120 meters.
