Greece is offering free travel to all tourists who were in Rhodes in July and were forced to flee the wildfires.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has come out and said that all tourists who visited Rhodes in July and were forced to flee the forest fires will be offered free travel back next year, reports Reuters.

– Together with local authorities, we will offer a free trip to Rhodes next spring or autumn, so that people will come back and enjoy the natural beauty of the island, says Mitsotakis, according to Reuters.

It is still unclear how it will all be administered.
