The Congolese composer and performer, Fredy Massamba releases a new album. Trancestral, his fourth solo album, mixes traditional sounds with soul, rap and hip hop music, with, as always, a major emphasis on songs and voices. An album on which hovers the tutelary shadow of his mentor, the Congolese pianist Ray Lema.
