Yolande Mukagasana and Dorcy Rugamba lost their families during the Genocide perpetrated against the Tutsis in Rwanda in 1994. Writing to testify and survive has since become essential for the two authors.

Yolande Mukagasana and Dorcy Rugamba co-wrote a multi-handed piece “Rwanda 94”. A river show that has made a long tour. To write, to create plays so as not to forget and so that history does not repeat itself.

Yolande Mukagasana has published three books, including Don’t be afraid to know to those who do not want to hear and deny reality.

Dorcy Rugambaversatile artist, author, director, took part in the last Biennale of Contemporary Art in Dakar “Supreme Remains”, his installation addresses the looting of African works by the colonists.
