Ricardo Cavallo, the Argentine painter, based in Brittany where he devotes his life to art and transmission, continues to inspire artists. After the documentary that the great Swiss filmmaker Barbet Schroeder has just dedicated to him entitled Ricardo and paintinghe is the hero of an illustrated album for young audiences: The child, the painter and the sea. François Place, author of numerous albums and notably The last giants, awarded numerous times, takes us to the Finistère coast in the north of Brittany. Ricardo has taken up residence there, and divides his time between painting and a school open to all.
