Franck Maubert, all tastes are in his nature

Franck Maubert all tastes are in his nature

The writer Franck Maubert loves long country walks. Throughout the pages of his collection entitled “Natural Stories”, he invites us to stroll, he shares his sylvan reveries, and marvels with elegance at the beauty of nature.

“A path belongs to no one, just to the one who takes it” writes our guest at the end of the 1er chapter of his new book. So let’s take the path of nature with him, for 17 walks – following the rhythm of the seasons – in the forest, at the edge of the water or in the river.

Let’s go with him on a hunt for mushrooms that “pose riddles of beauty”. Let us admire these roses which “tend towards the absolute”, let us observe with amusement these snails which have taken up residence in his mailbox, let ourselves be carried away by the song of the birds or follow with him the murmur of the water which hides so many mysteries.

Poetry, wonder and knowledge are born from walking and observing – “the path expands the world”. “Natural Histories” Frank Maubert was published by Mercure de France editions.
