France Work begins to use artificial intelligence to help job seekers more easily find a position corresponding to their expectations. A real job of jobs!

Since the release of Chatgpt, artificial intelligence (AI) has invaded the world of computer science. In order not to miss this new Eldorado which fascinates the whole planet and its leaders, all the tech companies have embarked on a frantic – and even frightening – race – by integrating AI into their services and their products, with promises of revolution.

This development does not only concern private and commercial companies: it also starts the public sector. And in this area, France work (ex Pôle Emploi) seems to have taken a little advance. For the sake of sovereignty, the public establishment has established a partnership with the French start-up Mistral AI, which has experienced a meteoric ascent until representing the main European competitor to the American giants (Google, Microsoft, Openai, Meta …) in terms of generative AI. Her chatbot The cat did not fail to draw attention to the very recent summit on AI.

For the past few weeks, advisers have been testing various AI tools developed by Mistral AI: applications that could change the situation for job seekers.

The first, called Chat FT, is made available to advisers. It aims to reduce the time spent on writing documents. Nearly 23,000 France work agents already use it. As for the second, Match FT, it is a virtual assistant who wants to be a real “job tinder”.

To put it simply, Match FT Approach the candidates by SMS by questioning them about the job offers that would interest them (accessibility to the workplace, skills, concrete interest for the position, etc.). The goal? “Make” the profiles of candidates for job offers “then scrutinize the file seekers (skills, workplace, etc.) before making a connection with employers.

Already used for several months in 87 agencies, Match FT would save significant time according to its promising. “Our solutions are aimed at one objective: to meet the concerns of users concretely and serve the expertise of France Work Advisers. All this guided by an ethical charter for an AI of trust, responsible and sovereign”, explained Sylvain Poirier, Associate Director Program Data IA of France Work. Subsequently, France Work wishes to push collaboration even further: “Today, Match FT already uses Mistral at 66 %, and we are targeting 100 % in the year”announced the associate director. It remains to be seen if this AI will hold all its promises and will be able to convince the first concerned: the job seekers themselves.
