Victor Dury elementary school in Lille.  Nearly 8,000 positions have been cut since 2017 in high schools and colleges to implement the measure.

It was one of the flagship measures of Emmanuel Macron’s five-year term, the splitting of CP and CE1 classes in REP+, in a priority education network. A few days before the presidential election, a question arises: what is the outcome of these split classes?
