The administrative court of Lille (Hauts-de-France) condemned the French State on Friday May 19 to erase the personal data from a list of demonstrators placed in police custody in Lille, during the mobilization against the pension reform. The surnames, first names, date of birth of these people were recorded by the prosecution in a file, “outside any regulatory framework”, according to the court. These lists, considered as “political files” by associations, would have been constituted “on the instructions of the Ministry of Justice”.
