France: strike of parliamentary collaborators

France strike of parliamentary collaborators

This is unprecedented in French parliamentary history: dozens of parliamentary collaborators were on strike this Tuesday, November 7 at the Assembly. It is the assistants of the deputies and senators who make them files or write amendments. There are nearly 3,000 in total. And they denounce their working conditions. The “collabs”, as they are called, even organized a rally in the Assembly gardens.
