The Prime Minister, François Bayrou, delivered his general policy declaration to the National Assembly on Tuesday January 14. For this grand oral presentation before the deputies, the challenge is to avoid censorship from the government. The head of government insisted on the importance of France’s debt, the 2025 budget, as well as the essential nature of pension reform. François Bayrou, however, announced that he would put this latest project “under construction, with the social partners”.
