Registration on the Parcoursup post-baccalaureate admission platform begins this Wednesday, January 18 for senior high school students and students in reorientation. They have until March 9 inclusive to complete their file and make their wishes.
In total, candidates must formulate on the platform Parcoursup ten wishes among the 21,000 training courses available. These wishes should not be hierarchical but they must all be motivated by a few lines from the student. Those who wish can also add ten additional wishes if they are interested in the apprenticeship formations.
Once this step has been completed, candidates have until April 6 inclusive to provide the necessary documents requested by the training courses to which they have applied and confirm their wishes. New this year: the marks of the specialty tests passed in March which are now counted by the platform.
Criticized and feared
Often criticized and feared by students since its creation five years ago, the site according to the Ministry of Education benefits this year from some improvements with in particular the creation of a new heading to understand the criteria of analysis of the candidatures.
Something to reassure future graduates. In 2022, of the 936,000 registered on the platform, 160 were still unassigned last September.
