(Finance) – Inflation in France confirmed growing in July. According to the French National Statistical Institute (INSEE), inflation resulted in 6.1% increase on a trend basisas in the preliminary estimate, up compared to + 5.8% in June.
On a monthly basisconsumer prices registered a 0.3% increaseas in the preliminary estimate, compared to + 0.8% the previous month.
The harmonized dataa measure used by the ECB, recorded a positive change in 6.8% on an annual basisafter the previous + 6.5%, while on a monthly basis harmonized inflation shows an increase 0.3% after the previous + 0.9%.
