Teachers demonstrate this Tuesday, April 2. They are still demanding better salaries and are opposed to the “clash of knowledge” desired by the government. North of Paris, in Seine-Saint-Denis, teachers and their students have been mobilized for five weeks. Dilapidated establishments, overcrowded classes, lack of staff… Seine-Saint-Denis is largely forgotten in terms of investments in education, they say. They are demanding an emergency plan for the youngest and poorest department in mainland France.
