Forty-two years after the discovery of the virus responsible for AIDS, a first case of “potential” cure was recorded in Marseille. The patient, followed by the Human Immunodeficiency Information and Care Center of Marseille public hospitals, is in remission after an allogeneic bone marrow transplant carried out in 2020. She would be the eighth case of recovery in the world.
