(Finance) – French household consumption will increase in November 2024. According to what was communicated by the French National Statistics Institute (INSEE), a change of +0.3% was recorded after the -0.3% recorded in October. The figure is better than analysts had expected, who had estimated an increase of 0.1%.
This slight increase was driven by the growth in food consumption (+0.3%). Consumption of final goods recorded an acceleration (+0.9%).
