(Finance) – Growth in employment slows down in France in the third quarter of the year.
According to the preliminary estimate of theFrench National Statistics Institute (INSEE)the labor market is estimated to be down by 0.1% in jobs (+17,700), compared to +0.1% in the previous quarter (+12,200) and the +0.2% estimated by analysts.
Private employment recorded a change of +138,800 jobs (+0.7%), which brings the workforce to a level higher than pre-Covid levels (+1.2 million units, or +6%).
