(Finance) – French consumer confidence improved in April. The relative index, calculated byFrench National Statistical Office (INSEE)was listed up 83 points from 82 points the previous month (revised from 81).
The data is also better than consensus estimates who had predicted a drop to 81 points.
The index related to personal financial situation of the last 12 months has worsened to -32 points while that relating to future conditions for the next 12 months has improved to -20 points from -23.
