(Finance) – French consumer confidence deteriorated slightly in January. The relative index, calculated by the French National Statistical Office (INSEE), was indicated at 99 points from 100 in the previous month. The figure is higher than the consensus estimates which indicated 98 points.
The index relating to the personal financial situation of the last 12 months has risen to -16 points from -17 and that relating to the future conditions of the next 12 months to -7 points from -8 points.
