A month after the Sainte-Soline clashes, the demonstration against a motorway project between Toulouse and Castres, in the south-west of France, took place peacefully on Saturday April 22. She was closely watched by law enforcement. 4,500 people, according to the prefecture, 6,700 according to the organizers, marched to denounce a project which they consider to be anachronistic.
