The trial of the alleged jailers of the Islamic State group opened this Monday, February 17, before the Assize Court specially composed of Paris. Five men are accused of being involved in sequestration in Syria, Western hostages in 2013-2014. Only three are present, of which Mehdi Nemmouche, already sentenced to perpetuity for the attack on the Jewish Museum in Brussels in May 2014. Asked about their positioning, all three denied having participated in the detention of hostages.
