The trial of Philippe Manier continues before the Court of Assizes of Paris. This ex-gendarme, also known by the nickname “Biguma”, was chief warrant officer in Nyanza, in the prefecture of Butare, in the south of Rwanda. He is notably prosecuted for genocide and crimes against humanity, accusations which he disputes.
