France a feeling of professional downgrading reigns among African immigrants

In 2023, of the 7.3 million immigrants living in France, 48% come from an African country, according to the latest report from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE). While they are the most numerous compared to immigrants from Asia or Europe, they experience a greater feeling of professional downgrading than others.
