A major fight broke out on Sunday evening in the Augustenborg area of Malmö. A total of four people have been taken to hospital.
– Several callers reported that there was a fight in a large crowd, and that people were injured. The police have now set up a larger cordon at the scene, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson at the police.
According to the police, one of the four people who were taken to hospital has minor injuries. The exact state of damage for the other three is unknown.
The incident is classified as attempted murder.
– They have used some form of attachment and the classification indicates serious damage, says Evelina Olsson.
By 9 p.m., the police had not arrested anyone. Three of the injured are in their 20s and 30s.
The alarm came in just before 8:30 p.m.
