Norwegian skiing his last World Cup race this coming weekend in Lahti.

– This is a special week for me. On Sunday I ski my last World Cup race. In Lahti, in the same place where I took my first prize in the World Cup 14 years ago. It’s my last race, Golfg wrote.
Gålberg finished third in Salpausselä in the traditional skiing sprint in 2011. In addition to Planica’s three World Championship gold, Golfg has won Olympic silver in his career and in the World Championship gold and World Championship silver sprint. He has 18 races from the World Cup, 12 of which are personal. He has also won the Tour de Skin in the 2019-20 season.
