A number of alarm calls have been received regarding a shooting outdoors near the Farsta center in southern Stockholm, writes the police.
A total of four people are said to have been injured in connection with the shooting.
– Four people with gunshot wounds have been found in different places, says Towe Hägg, the police’s spokesperson in the Stockholm region.
The police who are on the scene near the entrance to the subway station say that two people are being treated for gunshot wounds. They also have information that two other people have been found with gunshot wounds in the immediate area, one of them at a church and one outdoors on Larsbodavägen.
– We have everything from police officers in uniform to helicopters participating in the work on site, to form an idea of what has happened, says Towe Hägg.
It is currently unclear how serious the four people’s gunshot wounds are.
– I don’t know right now, but an ambulance is on the spot, says Towe Hägg.
The police have decided that the subway will not stop at the Farsta centrum station, this to prevent perpetrators or people who may have information to give about
the shooting leaves with the subway.
