Four men face charges in separate intimate partner violence cases

Police have laid charges against four men in separate intimate partner violence investigations over a three-day period in Norfolk County.

A 45-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged after police investigated an incident at a county residence on Saturday, August 26, and took the male into custody.

The accused is charged with two counts of assault – spousal, and assault with a weapon – spousal.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Police were also dispatched to a disturbance at a Norfolk County address at about 2:21 pm on Saturday, August 26.

A 48-year-old Norfolk man was arrested and charged with two counts of failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

A 45-year-old Norfolk County male was arrested following an intimate partner violence investigation at a Norfolk address just before 4:30 pm on Friday, August 25.

The accused has been charged with criminal harassment, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order – other than to attend court and was held in custody for a bail hearing.

A 28-year-old Norfolk County male has been charged with mischief under $5,000 following an intimate partner violence investigation after police responded to a Norfolk address at just before 11 pm on Sunday, August 27.

The accused was taken into custody without incident.
