Four men were executed in Iran on Monday morning.
According to the judiciary, the men were arrested in the summer of 2022 and accused of planning an attack on one of the defense agency’s facilities in the central province of Isfahan.
“The death sentence of four members of a group linked to the Zionist spy organization, who were arrested… for planning a bombing in Isfahan, was carried out this morning,” reports the state-run Iranian news agency Mizan Online.
According to the strictly religious dictatorship, the men must have been recruited by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad about a year and a half before the attack. They were sentenced to death in September 2023.
