At 11.14 the police were called to a high school in Lindholmen in Gothenburg.
Four men with some kind of attachment are said to have entered the school.
The police have an ongoing operation on site, they write on their website.
Two people have been detained and the police have drawn up a report of attempted serious assault and serious crime against the Knife Act.
