Four men are sentenced to prison for gross blue light sabotage in connection with the Easter riots in Örebro earlier this spring. The men are sentenced to between four and five and a half years in prison.
Two of the men will be deported and two will be convicted of violence against an official, according to the verdict.
The incident took place on April 15 when Rasmus Paludan received permission to burn a Koran in Örebro. At least 71 police officers and eight police vehicles were damaged. Three police dogs received minor injuries in connection with the riots.
The four men were charged and have admitted to being involved in the incident.
There is evidence that all four men threw stones at the police and that some of them broke through the police barricades and threw the riot fence.
According to the verdict, the convicts must also pay damages.
