Four people were transported to hospital following a four-vehicle crash on Highway 403 near Paris Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene at about 1:30 pm
The collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 403 involved four vehicles, including two commercial vehicles, Brant County OPP Const. Conrad Vitalis said on social media.
Four people were taken to hospital, some with serious injuries, he said.
The westbound lanes of the highway remained closed between Paris Road and Oak Park Road for several hours during the investigation. The highway reopened late Wednesday night.
