A court in Moscow detained four people late on Sunday who are suspected by Russian authorities of having carried out the terrorist attack on a concert venue on Friday.

The court stated that two of the suspects pleaded guilty to the crime, which according to the latest information claimed the lives of 137 people.

Pictures from the hearing in the court in Moscow show how three of the suspects are brought into the courtroom in handcuffs and with their heads pressed to the ground by Russian police officers.

A fourth man arrived in a wheelchair, eyes closed.

The Russian Ministry of the Interior has stated that the four are “foreign citizens”, according to Russian media they come from Tajikistan.

A total of eleven people have been arrested, some after a car chase, according to Russian state-run media with reference to the Kremlin’s press service.
