Technical Image Press Association (TIPA)once again honored Sony’s performance and innovation with a total of four TIPA awards. This year, Sony received the title of “Best professional hybrid camera” with the a9 III and “Best APS-C Specialist Camera” with the a6700.
Sony a9 III, which simultaneously exposes and records all pixels in the frame when shooting with the global shutter system “rolling shutter”, is the first hybrid or video/still full-frame camera that collects all pixels in a single frame. It features a maximum shutter speed of 1/80,000 seconds, framing speeds of up to 120 frames per second with full AF/AE tracking in JPEG and RAW, as well as flash synchronization at all shutter speeds and new pre-shot functions that record the moments before the shutter is pressed. For videographers, especially social and sports photographers, global shutter eliminates artifacts and artifacts such as flash flickering, light flicker, and screen tearing during video recording. We would like to point out that if the Sony a9 III arrives at our office in the coming days, we will examine it in detail.
