What happens when the server goes down? The servers are shut down. You cannot play Fortnite during this time.
Server down in Fortnite – when? The servers will be shut down on December 18, 2024 at 1 p.m. Matchmaking is deactivated 30 minutes beforehand (via x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the duration of the downtime. This is a rather larger patch. So the server down could take up to an hour. If complications arise, this could be prolonged.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only presents patch notes for updates sporadically and usually only after the downtime. As soon as they are available, you will read them with us.
