Update from March 11, 2025 – 9 a.m.: The maintenance has started on time at the announced time, the servers are offline. The maintenance should last about an hour and a half, i.e. until 10:30 a.m.
What happens to the server down? The servers are shut down. You can’t play Fortnite during this time.
Server Down in Fortnite – from when? The servers will be shut down on March 11, 2025 at 9 a.m. The matchmaking is deactivated short time before (about half an hour) (via X.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? This depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. In the absence of official information from the developers, you can only advise you at the current time.
When will patch notes appear? Epic Games only presented sporadically patch notes for the updates before and usually only after the downtime. As soon as they are available, read them with us.
