Today, August 25th, Fortnite servers went down on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load the 26.00 update onto the servers.

When will the Fortnite servers be back online? We are currently expecting you to be able to play again around noon. Between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. would be a realistic time when comparing the server down with the last few seasons.

Server matchmaking has been disabled. The entire server will follow soon so that Update 26.00 can be installed.
What’s happening in Fortnite today? Chapter 4 Season 4 starts today. A new season with fresh skins, weapons, locations and much more. As in the past, updates for new seasons were larger than patches in the seasons. So be prepared for a large download and eventual queues.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to shut down at 9:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds after 8:30 a.m.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11:00 a.m. or even at 1:00 p.m. But that is not confirmed.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games usually publishes a list of patch notes on their site after the update. If that happens, we will list them briefly and clearly for you here.
What content could come with update 26.00?
Epic Games reveals little to no new information about upcoming content before a new update. However, trustworthy leakers like Shiina have been keeping an eye on the data that’s been hidden from ordinary users for a long time and know roughly what to expect this time.
