Fortnite our guide to the challenges of week 4 of

After an epic transition between Season 2 and Chapter 3 Season 3, Fortnite has moved on to weekly challenges to progress through its battle pass. Here’s our complete guide to the challenges of the week.

[Mis à jour le 30 juin 2022 à 17h09] Fortnite entered a new era with the arrival of Season 3 of its Chapter 3. Players were able to enjoy the transformation of the island after the victory of the 7 against the IO, in a gigantic amusement park, where they have the opportunity to jump on springboards, visit the new fungal biome around the Reality Tree, and ride new canine mounts. But that’s not all, the season comes with the usual battle pass which offers players to unlock cosmetics, weapon and character skins, but also gliders, dances, emotes and Indiana Jones and Darth Vader, just that.

If you too want to progress quickly in your battle pass to earn enough stars to unlock its rewards, you will have to look into the weekly challenges of Fortnite. Each week, the game offers you to perform certain tasks in exchange for high amounts of experience, and we invite you to discover them every Thursday with us. In this fourth week of season 3, you will find no less than seven challenges to take up, to which other challenges will be added each week. Of course, you don’t need to complete these challenges in less than seven days, since they continue from week to week. Here is the list of challenges for week 4, and our advice:

  • Climb on a ledge 3 seconds after sliding: a mechanism that asks you to use the new movements of the game, nothing could be simpler. (15,000xp)
  • Deal 250 damage to opponents while in a vehicle: jump in a vehicle, take out your best weapons, and shoot anything that moves. (15,000xp)
  • Destroy 15 structures with an E-11 blaster rifle: you will find the blasters on the body of the stormtroopers or in the structures where Darth Vader is located (15,000 xp)
  • Cut down 5 pines with the sawthrower: go to the north of the island to find pine forests, and try to find a saw launcher (15,000 xp)
  • Travel 500 m in the aerial wake around La Bamboche: go to La Bamboche and jump into the aerial pipes to travel 500 meters (15,000 xp)
  • Plant a seed of reality in Sunflower Sprouts or Fungus Farm: you will find reality seeds at reality waterfalls by destroying purple pods. Then go to the Fongiferme (south of Greasy Grove) or the Turions de Tournesol (west of the Daily Bugle) and plant your seed there (15,000 xp)
  • Search 2 chests or 2 ammo boxes in crashed aircraft in IO: you will find these points of interest displayed on your map, go there and search chests.

If you haven’t heard of the news at the moment, Epic Games bought Fall Guys and recently celebrated the passage of Mediatonic’s adorable title in free-to-play. To celebrate this event, Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys are collaborating for an event called Crown Clash. This celebration translates into different skins and cosmetics to unlock in-game and for Fortnite, the arrival of a brand new character to unlock. This is Major Mancake. This brave cookie can be unlocked for free by participating in 100 shows in Fall Guysspecifically, by playing 100 games.

This is the news of this end of September. The standoff between Epic Games and Apple resulted in the drastic decision not to reopen Epic’s developer account on the Apple Store. In a discussion via press releases openly posted by Epic Games founder Tim Sweeney, Apple firmly denied the Fortnite developers’ request. To sum up the case, Epic and Apple are in conflict over the Apple Store’s in-game payment policy, which involves high commissions for the Big Apple company.

Recently, American justice had ruled in favor of the electronics giant, forcing Epic to pay it $ 6 million, and to respect the terms of the contract. A decision that Epic appealed. In a letter, Tim Sweeney then requested the reopening of Epic’s developer account on the Apple Store, saying “Epic will comply with Apple’s guidelines” as long as they “allow external links to other payment platforms”. In short, a status quo, to which Apple responded by blacklisting Epic’s developer account on the Apple Store and this “until the verdict of the court of justice is not final and without appeal”.

The sad news is that this decision makes it impossible for Epic to continue the development of Fortnite on IOS and Mac. Players who are fans of the apple brand will have to wait a few more years before being able to enjoy the Battle Royale, and according to Tim Sweeney this situation could last up to five years. The letters in detail (and in English):

Epic Games offers you to quickly but surely secure your account against hacks. And to better convince its players, the American studio offers rewards to be found in game. Concretely, two-factor authentication, also called A2F, asks the player for a second verification after the classic connection. After entering his password, the player will be asked to confirm his identity through a dedicated application (Google Authenticator for example) or by email.

The A2F is required in the event of a gift offered to one of its contacts, or for certain specific tournaments. In order to activate it, you have to go to the Account settingsthen in the section password and security. You then have the choice between activating thetwo-factor authentication by e-mail or by the authenticator. In order to motivate players to make their account more secure, Epic Games offers rewards accordingly. For Battle Royale mode players you will get the emote boogie down. For the “Save the World” mode, 50 arsenal slots will be given, and 10 backpack. Finally, a Legendary Edition Troll Loot Llama is up for grabs.
