What’s happening today? The big end of Chapter 3 in Fortnite is celebrated today with a live event. The players are eagerly awaiting what awaits them today. Because one thing is clear: It will be the biggest live event Fortnite has ever had. At least if you go by the time. It should last a whopping 40 minutes.
Before the start of the event, we don’t know how the 40 minutes will be filled with what content. In our live ticker we will keep you up to date. Here we show you content and our experiences of the live event.

9:53 p.m
Supposedly, when there are 10 minutes left on the countdown, i.e. at 10:00 p.m., there will be mini-games for you in the lobby. At least that’s what the rumors in the community say. Basketball? Let’s see!
9:50 p.m
The last 20 minutes of waiting has started on the TV in the event lobby. The new chapter is about to end. In the comments on Twitter, players are already discussing what the new map needs to offer to convince them. Above all, everyone agrees on one point: a cool snowy area is needed. Because it goes well with the season.
9:33 p.m
The live event mode is now active. You can join there now so that you can be there at the start at 10:00 p.m. on time. The lobbies in the mode have a team size of 4.
The mode is called Shattered: Chapter 3 Finale
9:23 p.m
In a few minutes, the mode for the live event should be activated. From 21:30 you should be able to join there. At least that’s what the official Fortnite blog post reveals. Then you can gather there and it starts at 10:00 p.m. If everything works as planned.

An official tweet from Fortnite went live at 9 p.m. It says: “We have no certainty as to how long it will take, but the island needs to be rebuilt and we will need help to do so. Shattered starts now!”

The players are eagerly awaiting the end of Chapter 3. This is also noticeable on YouTube and Twitch. On the live streaming platform Twitch.TV, Fortnite is currently the second most popular category with over 220,000 concurrent viewers. There are currently over 275,000 viewers on YouTube.
The numbers should catapult even higher in the next few minutes, the closer we get to the event start at 10:00 p.m.
8:30 p.m
There are already leaks about the event well before the start of the live event. Dataminer Shiina uploaded a video on his YouTube channel that is supposed to be the trailer for Chapter 4.
The leaked gameplay video
In the trailer you can see, among other things, Geralt von Rivia, who you know from the Witcher series. The video shows how the map is divided into individual parts and lies in zero gravity. Then the zero point draws on individual parts and assembles the new map from them. This is apparently the map you will be playing on in Chapter 4.
