Fortnite is kicking off the big live event, Collision, next week to wrap up Season 2, Chapter 3. All important information, the date and how you can be there, we show you here.

When is the Fortnite Live event running? The Collision Live Event runs on June 4, 2022. It starts at 10:00 p.m. How long it will run is not yet known – but in the past you could always count on a quarter of an hour to half an hour.

How can I participate? Basically anyone who plays Fortnite can take part in the event. You just have to be there on time: To be on the safe side, you should go into the game no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event – then the playlist for the event should be activated.

In the past, full servers could cause problems if you joined later. That’s why punctuality pays off.

Important: The event only takes place once and only at this time.

How many players do I need? The announcement speaks of “teams of four players”. However, it can be assumed that the event will also give the opportunity to team up with random players. At least that was the case at past events.

But what can we expect from the event?

Collision ends Season 2, Chapter 3 in Fortnite

What is this event? The title Collision is probably related to the clashing organizations of the “Seven” and the “IO”. Their conflict has been going on throughout the season and should reach a new level in the event.

Because: The past events in Fortnite were “big” and often brought drastic changes – such as a complete flooding of the map, or turning the island over.

The official description states that the “fate of the zero point” will be decided. Accordingly, it should also crack properly in “Collision”.

That was a huge event back then:

What is already known? There is not much information about the content yet. Leaks said it could possibly go into space.

Two objects are known to play a major role:

  • There is currently a huge tower on the map, the “Collider”, which regularly shoots laser beams into the sky. This seems to be the IO’s ultimate weapon.
  • The collider of the IO is already on the map
A new version of the Mecha Leader is deployed

You should also get a reward when you log into the game on June 4th from 2:00 p.m.: A loading screen and lobby music.

In addition, after the event, the current Battle Pass will also end. This is important again if you still have resources to spend.

What should I do before the season ends? Be sure to spend any remaining Battle Stars from the Battle Pass on whatever rewards you want. Otherwise they will be redeemed “automatically” at the end of the season for the rewards in the pass – in chronological order. Then it can happen that stars are spent on rewards of the first pages, although you actually saved for the later pages.

You should also spend your chips on the Omni Sword. Otherwise they just expire.

Last but not least: Level up as hard as you can – in case you still want to grab some of the rewards from the Battle Pass.
