Good morning! The servers will go offline at 05:00 German time. 30 minutes before the downtime, the player search will be deactivated.

When do the servers go offline? Epic Games announced on its official X account (formerly Twitter):

  • Fortnite servers will go offline at 5:00 a.m. German time on August 16th.
  • According to leakers (via x.com), the servers will remain offline for up to 5 hours before players can get back into Fortnite. That would be at 10:00 a.m. without any complications.

    However, as with any major release, problems can arise. We will therefore have a live ticker and provide you with the most important information and leaks.

    What can I expect from Absolut Doom? With Chapter 5 Season 4, Fortnite will once again release a major Marvel season. In addition to major changes to the map, fans will soon be able to use superpowers to move through the battlefield and defeat their enemies.

    How does a server down work in Fortnite?

    As with any server downtime, the servers are taken offline by Epic Games at a set time. Players will then no longer be able to log in, regardless of the platform. During the downtime, the new update will then be rolled out so that players can download the new content.

    After the download, there are usually several hours of waiting until Epic Games brings the servers back online. Depending on complications, however, there may be delays and the downtime may be extended.
