Fortnite: Chapter 4 Season 5 starts next week

In Fortnite, Season 5 of Chapter 4 is not far away. Only a few days until the start. We will therefore show you everything about leaks, information about the new map and whether a live event is possible.

When does Season 5 start? So far, Epic Games hasn’t put a timer in the Fortnite lobby, but the Battle Pass reveals more. According to him, Chapter 4 Season 4 will end on Friday, November 3rd at 7:00 am. So you can assume that Epic has planned a downtime for tomorrow.

What leaks are there for Season 5? Epic Games hasn’t released any official teasers yet, but leaks are making the rounds on x.com (formerly Twitter). According to trusted leakers like Shiina and Hypex, Season 5 will take you back to the OG era. The Chapter 1 map is expected to return in some form and will continue to change throughout November.

Players will be able to fight with iconic weapons, while combat should generally feel faster. To support the theory, the leakers point to the many clues from Chapter 4 Season 4. Familiar objects that are familiar from Chapter 1 appear in various places on the map. These include, for example, the DurrrBurger head sprayed on by the drifter.

But in the real world, Epic Games also gives away iconic items from bygone times to many content creators. DrLupo found a giant Dusty Diner mug while walking his dog, while CouRageJD found the “TRUCK ‘N’ Oasis” logo outside his house.

Is there any information about the Battle Pass? Unfortunately not, but an upcoming crew pack could indicate reskins, as the hybrid skin from Season 8 receives a reskin in the form of a cyborg ninja (via x.com). So it’s quite conceivable that Fortnite will revive the best skins from Chapter 1 as reskins in Season 5 so that players who missed them back then can still get them.

Will there be a live event? That cannot be said yet. However, it can be assumed that Season 4 will also end without a live event. The Chapter 1 references are probably the only thing players will see before the time travel begins.

In addition, the jump back to Chapter 1 offers no narrative reason to organize a large-scale live event like the fight against the Dice Queen. However, our only option is to wait and if a live event does take place, we won’t say no.
