Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Everything You Need to Know

Summer is over and now Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4 has begun. As this is the start of a new season, Lots of new content to enjoy like a new theme, weapons, gameplay changes and a new battle pass there is. As always, Epic Games packed a lot into the new season. We have all the details about the last season and here we will review the latest features.

New chrome theme

The most obvious change this time around is the new chrome theme and the season’s “Paradisealthough it is named ”, it works as part of the latest update eerie looks. A mysterious chrome substance has taken over the map and it affected the game in interesting ways. Chrome not only changes the way the game is played, but this time it is an important story element. The chrome substance has consumed everything from characters to buildings and it will be your job to figure out how to stop it.

Important Game Additions

The chrome item has taken over the island and it comes with some major gameplay changes. One of the most interesting additions is the ability to now pass through walls, made possible by the use of a new item called Chrome Splash. Just throw one into the wall to make it drillable. one at your feet Chrome Splash You can also turn yourself into chrome by throwing it. This will make you immune to fire damage and fall damage, and allow you to move faster with the airdrop ability to move faster. You will also turn into a chrome drop while running. The chrome buff is only available for a short time, so make sure you have plenty of Chrome Splash on you to get a lasting advantage.

New Chrome Weapons

What’s new this season EvoChrome Shotgun and EvoChrome Burst Rifle, will undoubtedly be included in the new meta this season. Interestingly, the rarity of these weapons will increase the more damage you inflict on them, so be sure to play aggressively to get the most out of the new firearms.

Many weapons from previous seasons are back, including the DMR, Hammer Assault Rifle, and Rapid Frie SMG. Below is the list of returned and vaultless weapons:

While the majority of the map remains largely the same from last season, the Paradise update has a host of new POI contains. These are mostly chromium-filled Cloudy Condos and Herald’s Sanctum such places. Since the Cloudy Circle is in the air, you will need to use a D launcher to get to this new POI.

Here are the new main POIs added this season:

  • Bright Lagoon
  • Herald’s Temple
  • The Shining Temple
  • Jonesy Castle
  • Cloudy Apartments

More POIs are likely to change over the course of the season as chrome takes over more of the map. Inclusion of safes that can be opened with keys found throughout the map, as well as POI additions. Remember, low-security safes require a key and provide good loot, while high-security safes require two keys to unlock, but provide more loot.

New Battle Pass


Season 4 uses the same battle pass system as before, where you earn stars to unlock items on 10 different pages. This gives the player some agency when it comes to the order in which items are unlocked.

Limited to 10th and final page of Battle Pass, Paradigm (with various styles), Bytes, Grriz, Meow Skulls, Lennox Rose, Twyn and battle pass Includes new character skins like Spider-Gwen. The Herald will appear as a playable character later in the season, but separately from the battle pass.
