A new week is starting on the side of SELL and GfK, which have not failed to update the ranking of the best sales made in France for Week 5 of 2023. As usual, no real figures to communicate publicly, but a Top 5 to measure the trend for sales recorded between January 30 and February 5. What we observe is the sudden absence of two major titles: Forspoken and Fire Emblem Engage. The respective titles of Square Enix and Nintendo, although well placed last week, disappeared from the table to be replaced without delay by games released a long time ago. God of War Ragnarök, for example, made a good comeback by placing itself in first place, closely followed by a certain Gran Turismo 7 which has been living its best life for several weeks. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which dropped out of the Top 5 in Week 4, returns to 3rd position, as does FIFA 23 which had dropped earlier as well. Finally, Dead Space Remake also tumbles this week, but manages to hold on to fifth place.
On PC, we also note the disappearance of a big game used until now to stay in the Top 3, namely Farming Simulator 22. in pretty good shape, while Minecraft Java & Medrock keeps the same place as last week.
