Formula 1: Engineer Adrian Newey leaves Red Bull – could form dream line-up with Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton

Since the 1980s, Adrian Newey, 65, has been building and designing formula cars with the greatest imaginable success. And since 2006, he has belonged to Red Bull where he helped lead the team to six constructors’ titles.

Add to that another six WC titles with long-standing McLaren and Williams and it goes without saying that Newey is one of motorsport’s greatest.

But now Newey’s future is unclear. After announcing his split with Red Bull, Formula 1’s biggest question is where will Newey go?

Dream lineup at Ferrari?

Lewis Hamilton is then ready for Ferrari 2025 before this year’s season after belonging to Mercedes since 2013.

And according to consistent data, including Italian Gazzetta dello Sport Adrian Newey can also be presented to Ferrari shortly.

When Newey appeared on Formula 1’s official podcast in the fall of 2023, Newey expressed his regret at never having collaborated with Hamilton and Ferrari in particular.

– Emotionally, yes. It would have been incredible to work with Lewis, but it never happened. Sometimes it comes down to circumstances, Newey added Beyond the Grid then.
